The Mission of the Lone Star Cyber Forge is committed to developing a skilled workforce capable of meeting growing demands of cybersecurity. To support this cause, we have several partner institutions. In addition to these formal training options, the Cyber Forge also brings tailored Cybersecurity Educations and trainings directly to South Texas Manufacturers, the hands-on-trainings are designed to upskill the workforce and focus on real world applications.

CyManII Sealed Training

The trainings by CyManII at the Lone Star Cyber Forge are designed by industry-leading experts in both Cybersecurity and Manufacturing. These trainings are comprehensive and integrate the latest industry standards including NIST, CMMC 2.0. This provides an immersive environment where manufacturers can develop essential skills, required for cyber resilience. The courses focus on delivering specialized content that meets unique needs of industrial sector.

CRI (Cyber Readiness Program)

The Lone Star Cyber Forge offers cutting-edge training programs, that focus on securing industrial systems, and building a cyber-ready workforce. Through its partnership with Cyber Readiness Institute, it offers free cybersecurity tools and resources tailored for manufacturing organizations to improve basic security practices and cyber resilience.

UTSA Cyber Range

The UTSA Cyber Range is a state-of-the-art classroom and learning lab designed for hybrid learning. The Cyber Range offers learners and an environment that uses simulated digital networks to show learners how to detect, identify, and mitigate cyber-attacks through realistic business-oriented scenarios. The Cyber Range provides flexible on-demand training, and Team trainings with realistic cyberattack simulations enhancing team preparedness using industry-standard tools like Palo Alto Firewalls and Splunk.

Mobile Training Vehicle (MTV)

The Mobile Training Vehicle (MTV) provides all the advantages of the Cyber Range but in a remote capacity, meeting small- to medium-sized manufacturers and university students where they are. Team training, individual on-demand labs, and a Crisis Simulation experience are offered to upskill the workforce in cybersecurity awareness.
